Stranded motorists on the Coquihalla Highway play hockey! If you don't know this highway it's the link between the interior of the province and Vancouver. It's a great highway in the summer but the mountain passes are dangerous in the winter. Highway from Hell is a US Produced TV program that shows the problems the tow trucks have when conditions are bad. In the summer the speed is 120 KM! In the winter, you may play a game of hockey!

It's been six days since the ice storm hit Abbotsford about 45 minutes from where I live. Power is still out in some of the remote areas. Where I live it's -3C, clear and our roads are good! It's wonderful to have sunshine every day even if it is cold.
