It's a wonderful time of year!

This is the time of year when everyone entertains and your weight can really escalate.  Cec and I have been watching our weight since March.  We've been eating according to Canada Health Guide.  As of today Cec is down 54 pounds and I am down 22 pounds.  We both feel better.  We are not doing any "fad" diets.  We are eating properly, cut our portions, cut our meat intake and stopped eating out every day.  I can honestly say we don't feel deprived.  We both have more energy and feel so much better.

In the last two weeks, we've both held our weight.  We've gone to an awesome Christmas Buffet at Morgan Creek Golf Club, a cousins brunch at the pub, and yesterday Cheryl and Dave took us to Baccus Bistro.  Today my friends Janice and Donna are coming over so we can go to C-Lovers Fish and Chips!   Both Cec and I have birthdays 11 days before and after Christmas.  We are celebrating!  Our goal by year end is to hold our weight where it is and finish this goal in the New Year.

This morning, I took the batteries out of the scale so we'll see what happens on January 1st!  Tis the season to be merry!
