Steveston

For 35 years, we lived in Steveston.  When we moved there it was way out of central Richmond.  Land prices were reasonable.  There was a small grocery store, some shops, BC Packers was in full production and Garry Point was sand dunes.  We watched it grow and become the trendy place it is today.  Ten years ago we moved out of Steveston.  Yesterday, we went back to meet friends for dinner at the Buck & Ear.  We got there early and went for a nice walk around the quaint village. The weather is breaking records.  I don't know what the temperature was in Steveston but in White Rock it was 21.7°C/71°F!
