This year was one of the quietest Christmas's in a long time. Cheryl and Dave invited Brad, Maria, Sharon and Nancy. Nancy is my cousin whose been in and out of hospital and Sharon is her sister. Sharon has come to stay with Nancy for a few days! Nancy is MUCH better. On her last visit to the hospital she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and put on fluids for four days. She was recovering from emergency gall bladder surgery and one of the stones left the gall bladder and has been working it's way out. She was discharged on Christmas Eve. Between the fluid diet and the medications she's doing great! She was able to eat a small amount of dinner tonight which was awesome!

Sharon brought this for me. In 1953, my mom mailed this picture to Sharon! Louise is in the first row, second one on the left. |

This house is two blocks from Cheryl's. It's gorgeous and there was a huge traffic jam of people enjoying the lights. |
To end our night Environment Canada has forecast snow for Boxing Day! Let's hope they are wrong.
