According to a report in The Siberian Times, Russian Railways president has proposed a plan for a massive trans-Siberian highway that would link his country’s eastern border with the U.S. state of Alaska, crossing a narrow stretch of the Bering Sea that separates Asia and North America.
That would mean that the citizens of Canada and the US could go to Asia by car. It would go all the way through Russia, and it would include already existent roads and highways. Of course, those roads are going to be “slightly” renewed.
