Red Hat St. Patrick's Day Lunch on Friday

It's at a great location,  just outside the Canada Line Skytrain Station, easy for everyone to get to.
There is a mall and good underground parking, so I drove.
We had our own room!  I guess they knew we would be noisy!
There was another table but I forgot to take their picture...whoops!

Typical Irish Bar

Queen Cheryl and Stephanie our excellent waitress!

Green Beer!
Notice the cookie in the shape of the Irish Flag!
Cheryl said Orange for Protestants, Green for Catholics and White, the colour of dove for peace between the two.
I don't know if that's blarney, but everyone at our table bought it!

The Manager came to say hi and brought along the Pope!

Stephanie brought us all complimentary jello shots!  The tray was full when she came in the room!

Queen Cheryl is showing those who have never had a jello shot, how to "down it"

As I drank green beer and was driving home, I gave my jello shot to Pat.
One other person didn't want hers so Pat had three.  Don't tell Steve.  I drove her home!
What a great place for lunch!  Their menu was typical Irish Pub fare.  Everyone enjoyed their lunch.  There were only two of us drinking green beer, most had wine or coffee.  No one had Guinness!  It's my turn to choose a restaurant in September and we've decided we will go back!  The manager had a wonderful Irish accent.  I think his accent was authentic, but we'll find out in September when we go back.  They were so welcoming and really good to us!  No restaurant has ever offered us "shots"!
