Microsoft will fix your computer for free! This is not a scam. If you call the Microsoft store, you get voice mail, press the right key and they will send you a text with a link to their website. You make an appointment online. They will remove virus and malware. You must take it to a Microsoft store with an Answer Desk. Our closest one is in Metrotown.
We took Cec's old laptop in. It needed more than the regular in store while you wait servicing, so they kept it for three days. Now it starts quickly and runs much better. No cost to us!
