We are breaking all records for high temperatures. For my US friends who don't understand Celsius, 31C is 89F! It's still June! On Tuesday, Victoria shattered a 121 year record. Seattle recorded 95F yesterday. It will cool slightly this weekend.
I picked Lexie up from school yesterday and asked how hot her school was. She said it was hot but in Foods they cranked the ovens to 450F and then it was really hot! I feel sorry for the children in portable classrooms as they don't have the air circulation the school has! Lexie's school has very few portables and they will be gone next year when the graduating class who didn't want to go to the new school leaves.
Let's hope the forest fire season is not as destructive as previous years!
