Happy 100th birthday, Dad

October 3, 1919 - January 22, 1971

I was 23 years old when you passed away suddenly in Hawaii.  You were only 51!

You were able to meet your two grandsons, unfortunately you didn't get to meet your only granddaughter, Cheryl.  You would be thrilled to see how well they've all turned out.  Brad got your zest for getting a great deal!  He loves the stock market as you did.  Cheryl is very thoughtful and got your kindness and honesty.  Lexie is your first great grandchild.  She got your love of travel.  Along came Jack and Sammy!  The cutest little boys ever.  Jack is kind, loving and respectful.  Sammy is the athlete who loves to play sports.  They all have your sense of humour.  You would be so proud of them.

You didn't get to meet Maria, Dave or Catherine.  Maria is the hardest worker I know.  Her kindness overflows.  Dave is the best son-in-law!  He loves red wine as much as you did and you'd love his career!  Catherine is from the UK, as were your parents.  She is a stay at home mom who keeps life full of volunteering at the school, helping out charities and being the best mom the boys could ask for.
