If this is Surrey, it must be Tuesday....

Another day in quarantine.  Thank you for everyone sending great messages, phone calls and funny emails.   On our daily walk we are watching the flowers bloom.  We distance ourselves from the few people we pass.  I'm glad we can get out once a day to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
Our next door neighbour at #1 planted this gorgeous array of spring flowers!

The video below shows people in high rises in downtown Vancouver thanking all the health care workers for the wonderful care they are giving everyone.  At 7 PM every night they go on their balconies:

Vancouver thanking health care workers

“ And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and

rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and

learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more

deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some

met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.

And the people healed. And in the absence of living ignorant,

dangerous, mindless and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.”
