Dr. Bonnie Henry

I never knew this lady until the COVID-19 virus appeared.  Hon. Adrian Dix, BC Health Minister and Dr. Henry are on our television every day!  They have been informing British Columbians about the virus, where it has been detected and an update on people that are hospitalized.  Their communications are very informative.  The best information is listen to them, don't believe anything on Facebook, Twitter or the Internet!   In British Columbia should you have any symptoms or concerns you call 811.  I understand every province in Canada has a "nurses line".

Our coach trip is on May 3rd to Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore.  I found out no one has called to cancel to date.  If the Canada/US border is closed the trip of course will be cancelled.  If the trip goes, they have a sanitization plan in place.  If people don't have wipes they will be supplied.  Everyone will be given instructions on cleaning the bus area you sit at.  They will also be told to take the wipes into the motel rooms and what to wipe down.

As of yesterday the following ports are not allowing cruise ships to dock:
Jamaica, Grand Cayman, St. Lucia, Monterey California, Bergen, Stavangar, and many ports in Asia.  I think this list will grow in the next few days.

It's just been announced Viking Cruises has cancelled ALL river and ocean cruises from today until May 1st.  I think this is a good idea and I hope other cruise lines will follow.
