Happy 82nd Social Distancing Birthday Richard!

Yesterday, Richard, my brother-in-law turned 82!   I wanted to give him a nice birthday dinner but these days it isn't easy.  He wanted to golf with his grandsons, Jack and Sam.

The weather looked good and I thought I could do an outside dinner so we could social distance.  Cheryl sent me a text saying she was sneezing and it was most likely allergies but she didn't want to take the chance of coming close to us.  Brad has a sore throat and stayed away too.  

Richard requested chili so I made Louise's great chili.  Lexie had a food assignment this week to bake something.  She made a chocolate cake, from scratch including the icing.  It was delicious and Richard really enjoyed it.  Thanks to the foods teacher for making that her assignment.  Lexie loves to bake!

Richard has a Fit Bit on his arm.  On Thursday he did 22,000 steps!   I hope he had an awesome birthday.  Hopefully next year we can have a celebration with family and friends!
