Happy 99th Birthday Prince Philip

This new photograph of The Duke of Edinburgh and The Queen was taken last week in the quadrangle at Windsor Castle to mark His Royal Highness’s 99th birthday today.  They said he will celebrate with a small luncheon with a few family members.  I hope next year he gets a huge celebration!

We watched four episodes of Inside Windsor Castle on Prime Video.  It was very interesting and nice to see Queen Elizabeth thinks of Windsor as her home and Buckingham Palace as her office.  

While in the UK a few years ago, we took a tour of Windsor Castle.  It's huge and we didn't go anywhere near the royal accommodations but did see a lot of the rooms.  One thing I remember was Queen Mary's doll house.  

I'm sure the Queen and Prince Philip are enjoying their quarantine in Windsor Castle.  The grounds around the castle are beautiful.  The prime show told of all the residences and the polo field that were built by the royal family.
