Time for an oil change

White Rock Honda
We always watch the oil levels in our car.  With our car you don't need to worry because it will display a yellow wrench and beside it is a code.  The code is easy to crack, just ask Google girl.  We needed a B12, not the vitamin but the B12 servicing.

I was concerned about what protocol they've implemented to make sure it's done in a "safe" manner.  I had no worries at all.  I couldn't get an appointment for another week.  That's no problem, I don't go far these days.  They will drive me home when the car is being serviced and pick me up when it's done.  We usually go together, but this time, only one person is allowed in the service shuttle.  They use a mini van and the middle seats were hidden in the floor.  The customer sits in the rear of the van a two meter distance from the driver.

They wrapped my steering wheel and passenger seat in saran wrap.  The service department only had two people at stations, not the usual four.  That's probably why the wait was a week, not the usual  next day.

No worries in feeling unsafe, the dealership has done a good job in being compliant with the rules!  Dealership doors that automatically open, hand sanitizer at every counter, and lines on the floor showing you where to stand.

The electronics on these newer vehicles is nice, however, I miss my dipstick!  Somehow now, oil lasts much longer than it use to.
