Thanksgiving now and then

Now:

Very small family bubble dinner.  Cheryl made a wonderful turkey with all the trimmings.  For dessert she made her famous Pumpkin Cheesecake!  

Then:  

Many relatives were invited and to seat everyone together,  Cheryl rearranged the furniture.  This was the "adult" table.

This was the kids table.  We like the kids at the adult table, but they are getting older and we never had enough room.  I'm pretty sure they liked being in another room.  Dinner was buffet style.  Those days are gone!  We have great memories and when this virus is under control, we can do this again.  

We have so many things to be thankful for.  Loving family, good health, and being Canadian!
