It's been an interesting few days

I've been on Twitter for a long time.  I enjoy reading tweets from politicians and interesting people.  I've followed @realDonaldTrump since before he was elected.  A few times, I've unfollowed him because there were too many tweets and they were self-serving.  I have followed him continually during and since the 2020 US Election.

I knew from reading his tweets there was going to be a demonstration and reading between the lines he was asking for more than a peaceful protest.  I had no idea it would be as ugly as it was this week.

He is also planning another protest on January 17th, not only in Washington DC, but at the State Legislatures.  I hope I am wrong, I really hope I am wrong.  Perhaps the access to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram will curtail this other attempt to protest on mass.

I believe in peaceful protests.  These goons came with guns, batons, zip ties and tasers!  There were pipe bombs planted, a noose hanging device planted and on a door inside the Capitol building was written "kill Mike Pence"!

During the Stanley Cup riots in Vancouver the police got all the video they could and the arrests took a long time, but they were successful is charging many of the people who rioted.

I'm sure the Capitol building has a lot of inside cameras and the idiots who posted their own videos online should make locating these halfwits easily identified.  I'm reading they are making many arrests.  They need to get these morons locked up so they don't protest again on January 17th or any other day!

Now on a lighter note, many years ago I purchased a cat video.  It was a VHS tape; entertainment for your cat to watch!  Cheryl spent hours entertaining Snowball with this video.  When I was cleaning my loft, I found it.  I asked Cheryl if she wanted it for Roxy.  Of course, she laughed and said "we don't have a VCR".  We do, but we don't have a cat.  I asked my cousin Nancy if she wanted it for her cats.  Apparently, Calypso is enjoying it:

Megalomaniac - ???

I love learning new words.  I'd never heard this one so I looked it up: What is a megalomaniac person? A megalomaniac is a pathological ...
