Environment Canada issues a heat warning!

We've had warning about the upcoming weather.  The excessive heat that's over the United States is now coming north.  

We lived in Steveston for 33 years.  We didn't own a fan.  Living so close to the water, we always got a breeze.  It would get hot in the day, but around dinner, the wind would blow and it would be lovely.  We moved to Surrey and after two summers, we bought an air conditioner.  At first we had the portable ones.  They worked but they were really noisy and annoying.  So we had an air conditioner attached to our furnace.  It was the best investment we ever made!



For my US friends, here is the formula for converting from C to F:  
(39°C × 9/5) + 32 = 102.2°F
