I got Pfizered by a Fireman!

Last Friday we got our email to book our second COVID vaccine.  Our emails came through fifteen minutes apart.  I went online and was able to get two appointments at the same time for yesterday at 3:45 at the Cloverdale Recreation Center.

We arrived ten minutes before our appointment, no lineups!   Parking was easy and they asked if it was our first or second shot.  If you had Pfizer you went one way and Moderna was the other way!   We checked in with a nice fellow on a laptop, filled out the questionnaire and proceeded to the area where they were administering shots.  I just sat down and this gorgeous fireman rolled up his cart.  We had an awesome conversation and he gave me my second dose.  I didn't even feel the needle!

There were a lot of younger teens getting their shots.  It's so nice to see.  We never waited anywhere and everyone was very nice.  When the mother of a 12 year old was registering him, she asked if she could get her second shot as she was already there.  The answer is "not until after eight weeks after your first shot".  We were nine weeks after our first shot.

My friend Carol got her second shot on Monday.  She called last night to see how we made out and she still has no side effects!   We are fine and hopefully we don't have any side effects either.

It's a wonderful relief and we are so thankful to be protected.  Cheryl, Dave and Lexie have all had their first Pfizer shot.  We are the Pfizer Family!
