Teppanyaki

We've only had teppanyaki on a cruise ship.  Cheryl and Dave go into Vancouver to a good teppanyaki restaurant but thought they would give this local one a try!

For family birthdays, we decided a few years ago we would take the birthday person out for dinner.   There is nothing nicer than a family dinner and no one would have to cook and clean up.  July 27th was Cheryl's birthday and Dave's birthday is August 11th.  They chose this teppanyaki restaurant in Langley.  

Cheryl and Dave both ordered the Filet and Prawns.  It sounded so good, we had it too!

We had a green salad and miso soup to start.  Then he fried three eggs, added a huge amount of rice and proceeded to fry it adding a lot of extras plus a delicious sauce

 

He cut an onion to make a volcano and then more fire!

On the grill, salmon (under the dome), lobster and scallops for the others at our table, shrimp and filet for us and it was very tender.   Dave said it was as good or better than the teppanyaki restaurant in Vancouver.  We really enjoyed it!  A wonderful dinner and so nice to eat together and hug!
