Shachi Kurl was a good moderator. Trying to control these five was not an easy task. She's from Vancouver. I loved her when she was a political reporter for Global a few years ago. Now she's the President of the Angus Reid Institute! Way to go Shachi.
Best line of the night was Rosemary Barton of CBC who said "let's try to get some answers this time, shall we".
It hasn't helped me in my decision of who to vote for. The candidate in your riding or the leader you like? That poses a problem in Cloverdale Langley City where I live. The leader I prefer isn't in the same party as the best candidate in our riding.
Why is there only one English debate? There were two in French. I should have watched one of them. Did this one change my mind? Not really, same old blah blah blah. Attack each other, complain about past years and who can believe what they promise, all of them!
The only good thing about this election is Lexie got a job on election day! It's not at my polling station. I think it's a great learning experience and she was thrilled when they phoned to tell her. I'm thinking after working a 15 hour day, school will look pretty good on Tuesday.
I'll vote in the advance poll as the polling station we have on election day has horrible parking and it's hard to even get to it. It's at five corners in Cloverdale! The advance poll is being held in the elementary school beside Cheryl's home. I'm picking up Lexie from high school so we will vote after we take her home from school.
