Out with the old, in with the new

Manufactured in Quebec in the 1950's

Many hours of playing and it really needed tuning.  Tuning on one of these oldies doesn't last long.  We will miss it but it's time to move on.
It looks black, but it's actually Rosewood.  It's an electric piano that uses wood hammers to make the sound.  On the left you can see a display.  This is how you control all the different sounds, instruments and the metronome.  The sound plays through the speakers and you can put in a memory drive to save the tunes you play.

You attach your iPad or Android device through Bluetooth.  Using the Yamaha Smart Pianist app you can adjust parameters such as reverberation from echoes in performance venues and overlay voices.  The best attachment is head phones!

This isn't like a 1950 piano.

It's time for Aunty Acid
