Cec's cousin, who was born in Canada but moved to the US many years ago and became a U. S. citizen has Parkinson's Disease. He's suffered for a quite a while but lately it's getting worse. He told us he was considering Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) two years ago. Deep Brain Stimulation is a surgical procedure for people with Parkinson's. It can help ease motor systems and decrease medication in some people. It doesn't work for everyone. They told him he was a good candidate for this procedure. Michael J. Fox had the surgery and it wasn't successful.
In December he went into Loma Linda Hospital and he kept everyone up to date on social media. The procedure is not easy and his scars looked pretty nasty.
