🎶The pomp and pageantry this weekend was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire weekend of Coronation events. I was proud of the Canadian Mounties leading the procession to Westminster Abbey.
They certainly decorated London!
I checked my TV online guide and the only network showing The Coronation Concert was PBS! I recorded it as I was out and missed the ending as the time went over. I've checked and can't find it broadcast on TV at any other time. I'm hoping it will be on Netflix or You Tube so I can see the ending. Next time I will add time to the recording. My favorite part was Prince William's speech to his father he said "unlike Lionel Ritchie, it won't go on all night long!" It shows his sense of humour. Katy Perry's performance was magnificent. She mentioned she brought her mother to the UK and they are staying at Windsor Castle! I watched the Coronation on CBC. I was speaking to a friend who watched it on CTV and they had an interesting indigenous leader explaining how the British Crown helped them in the early years.
