Cec's cousin Shannon from Edmonton is visiting Vancouver. We invited her and Rodney, another cousin for lunch. It was a lovely day and we had lunch outside. We hear sirens here, but there were so many and they just kept coming down 152 Street! They were going past our area and we knew something bad must have happened.
This plane crash was only 13 blocks from where we live! It was a small aircraft with only the pilot on board. I'm glad he managed to land in a field. Early reports say he's badly burned and was taken to hospital. There were a lot of witnesses. It caused a grass fire that was put out by the fire department.
