Last November Cheryl was not available at 10 am on the day the Taylor Swift tickets went on sale and asked me if I would go online and get tickets for the Seattle concert. She gave me her Ticketmaster sign on, Swiftie Code and credit card number. I patiently sat by my computer and tried to get tickets. Like so many other people, I couldn't get into the website. Then I got a message the site was down and sadly texted her and told her I failed to get them. They were to be a surprise gift for Lexie.
After lunch Cheryl got an email from Ticketmaster that tickets for the Seattle concert would be offered at 3 PM. Thankfully she was home, it took about 20 minutes and she got tickets! The price wasn't too high and she had her pick of seats!
That night on the news, we found out the problems people across North America had getting tickets. Lexie was thrilled when she found out just a few weeks ago. We will be away when she sees Taylor. I hope she has an excellent time!
This is being reported:
Swift is set to play two shows in Seattle, on Saturday, July 22 and on Sunday, July 23. And while a limited number of tickets are on sale via reselling markets, they are unfathomably expensive.
Still, now that Swift appears to have no plans to include Canada on her Eras Tour, Canadian fans can either go without or pay up.
According to StubHub, a pair of floor seats will set you back anywhere from $3,500 to $20,000 each. But for Taylor Swift fans who have to pay rent this summer and are looking for the cheapest ticket into the stadium, you’re looking at paying about $1,810 to $3,500 each.
