CBC released a new series on February 7th that is filmed in Surrey. It's already broadcasted three episodes and I caught up on CBC Gem. It's a character-driven police procedural about identity and belonging, policing and politics, and finding truth within the heart of a flawed justice system.
If you want to watch, see the pilot and then you will understand the back story of her father, a Canadian politician who is arrested for treason. It's great to see all the areas in Surrey, they film in. Well written and well acted. Way to go CBC!
