In 2017, I was chosen to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Every year it's opened up to Canadians! However, now you must be Canadian and reside in the UK to attend a Garden Party. If you are Canadian and travelling to the UK, you can attend the Trooping of the Colour or Royal Ascot! They have not released tickets for the Trooping of the Colour or Royal Ascot, but they will shortly. I would suggest you subscribe to their informative newsletter:
