Mark Alan Prosser

You may not recognize his name, but if you live in Vancouver you've probably seen his awesome artwork.  He's a local artist and captures the beauty of old and present Vancouver.

Here he is with his painting of Wally's Burgers.  I grew up in East Vancouver and this was a favorite hangout in the 60's!  Wally's was a very popular place on Kingsway.  The burgers were delicious!

Nick's Spaghetti house on Commercial Drive.  It's gone now, but my dad knew Nick!

Another store that's gone, but lots of memories of the Army and Navy especially annual their shoe sale!

He's done so many pictures of Vancouver.  I just found out he's going to be featured on "This is BC, with Jay Durant".  I love his features on Global.  I follow him on Facebook and saw this post:

"This is BC, with Jay Durant" featuring Prosser Art is airing on Thursday, May 30th on Global BC News Hour at 6.55pm. Richelle and I got the news today from Jay! Much sooner than we were expecting which is a good sign. We can't wait to see it for the first time with all of you. He is awesome at what he does so we are friggin excited
