I don't go to Walmart in Canada anymore because our local Walmart has many checkouts and they only open 1 or 2. The checkout lines that are open are ridiculous. You can go to the self-checkout but if you want to pay cash, you have to find the one that accepts cash. I understand they are pushing their credit card. At the self-checkout when customers don't understand how to use it, or English isn't their first language, the employee hits the "accept credit card application button". Many residents have received a credit card, they never ordered. This has been done to many people in South Surrey and there are continual warnings on Facebook. The employee gets $5 and the store also gets a cash reward from the credit card company.
There are many Walmart locations in China.
