We took the train to Southend-On-Sea. It was a gorgeous day! I've been here a few times and it's one of my favorite seaside towns. Lexi asked what it was like and I told her "White Rock on steroids"! We had fish and chips on a patio overlooking the sea. Then we walked the longest pier in the world. When we got to the end there were lots of guys fishing. Cec met a fellow from Ontario, No one was catching anything. Lexi wasn't interested in the amusement park. We saw lots of people swimming in the ocean. It was a great day! We walked at least 6 kms!
