Today Carol and I are going to Jersey Boys at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. I saw it in Las Vegas a few years ago and was surprised at the story. Of course I remember them well but had no idea what their story was. It's getting great reviews. Cheryl and Dave went yesterday and loved it. Now other stars are bringing their stories to the stage. Beautiful, Carole King the Musical; Dusty, the story of Dusty Springfield; and On Your Feet the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan. I hope one or more of these musicals is included in the Broadway Across Canada productions next year. They should announce the new performances in early 2018. The last musical in this series is Motown coming in February. I have not seen Motown and I'm looking forward to it. I really enjoy going to live theatre.
Carol and Dave are off to Tucson tomorrow to see Carol's brother Ken for American Thanksgiving. I hope she has a wonderful time and enjoys the nice warm weather.
