Yesterday, Maria invited the family to Kings Links for a birthday dinner for Richard's 80th birthday (May 1st) and Brad's 50th birthday (June 23rd). She invited 63 people and said "no gifts, just bring cards made by your children". There were 25 children invited. Maria had kites, bubbles, squirt guns, badminton sets, frisbees and bean bag toss! They could putt or go to the driving range. She closed the restaurant and the children had a great time. After dinner the golf carts went out. A "licensed" driver drove the kids around. I think the parents and grandparents had just as much fun as the kids. Maria is a gracious hostess and everyone had a great time. Richards sister Irene and brother David came with their families from Victoria.
