Seabourn Sojourn

32,346 gross tons; capacity 450 passengers
I had the pleasure of touring a six star ultra-luxury expedition style ship.  It was berthed at Canada Place.  This ship sails around the world but you get a different cruise experience.  It sails into places less travelled by other ships.  The ship is small and only carries a maximum of 450 passengers.  On Alaska and Antarctic sailings they have knowledgeable experienced expedition team of scientists, scholars, naturalists and more.  There are zodiacs and kayaks on board.  They have complimentary all weather jackets. You board the zodiacs easily from the aft of the ship.

The ship is intimate, bright and doesn't feel like a small ship.  One thing I noticed, the hallways are much wider than smaller ships I've seen.  The venues are warm and inviting.

I took 120 pictures and below are some of the more interesting areas.  If you a wondering about price, it's way out of my budget but certainly wonderful for those who can afford such luxury.  Yesterday the ship left on a 12 day Alaska cruise. A Veranda Suite with a balcony on the 7th deck was $8,024.00 per person!  If I win the lottery, I would book one of the Antarctica and Pantagodia expeditions.  There are seven zodiac landings on most Antarctica itineraries.
This ship sails to Alert Bay, Klemtu, Bella Bella and many remote BC communities.
All these ports are accessible by ship only!

Observation Lounge
I should have taken a picture behind me, there are floor to ceiling windows with magnificent views
The Colonnade, deck 8 aft.

The Prawns looked amazing!
Dining in and out.  The outside area is covered!

An intimate, alternative dining venue

Reservations are required because of the limited capacity and there is no extra charge
The main dining room

I've seen a lot of cabins and suites but this one is the most unique and inviting suite I've ever seen.  It's not the largest but I chose it for my blog.
The Living Room

The other side of the living dining room.  Complete with bar and interesting bookcase
Bathtub #1.  You wouldn't want to bathe while at port but this is awesome!
Bathtub #2 - in the same suite.  The bed has a protective cover whilst passengers unpack.
There is a huge walk in closet on the left

Inside the large bathroom.  The shower is huge!

The Card Room

The Show Lounge.  Yes there are pillars but they are not wide and there is plenty of great seating.
When you board at Canada Place, you check in at the Show lounge!
You don't wait in that huge line that the other ships offer.

These are E-Readers.  Every day, every major city newspaper is loaded on them.  You get current up to date news on these tablets.  Of course they are complimentary.

A view Seabourn Square

There are many computer stations for everyone to use.

A view of the spiral staircase from Deck 4
These are in Seabourn Square.  They look at the bow with a great view and are massage chairs!  There is a coffee bar and huge library in this area, along with the E-Readers.
