A great lunch with friends!

Today Donna, Janice, Jim, Cec and I met for lunch.  We decided to return to Bacchus Bistro, one of our favorite restaurants in the lower mainland.  What a gorgeous day to have a nice lunch!   Donna will leave shortly for a Canada New England cruise on the Royal Princess and Janice and Jim are headed to their winter home in Palm Springs!   Great to see you again and thanks for a wonderful day!

Janice and Jim started with the Roasted Garlic Soup!
They both loved the soup and the red wine!
Cec had the lamb shank
braised for three hours with white wine, tomatoes and curry spices

Jim had the Beef  Bourguignon
boneless short ribs braised in Chaberton Red with pearl onions, bacon and mushrooms
Janice ordered the Duck Leg Confit
served with warm beluga lentil salad with spinach, mushrooms and asparagus tossed in pepita pesto!

Donna and I both had the Sauteed Mushroom and Golden Ears Emmental Omlette
served with Yukon gold potato hash browns with garlic!
