An interesting weekend

Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous weather in Vancouver.  Great day to get out and enjoy this gorgeous city.  I didn't take this photo but it's so nice I thought I would share:

Ruby Princess docked at Canada Place.  The picture captures the cloudless sky!  Ruby Princess arrived with no passengers as it's just completed dry dock in Victoria.  I tried to find out what they did beside regular maintenance but wasn't able to locate any information.   It's almost the last cruise ship to come to Canada Place this year.  The Eurodam comes on Wednesday and the Emerald Princess is the last ship in port on Friday.  Cruise ship season is almost over.

I had to post this picture as my cousin Kristy from the UK is visiting Mauritius!  She has some wonderful holidays and I love following her on Facebook.  She posted this yesterday.

A gorgeous wedding picture.  It must have been difficult to get all the little ones to sit still and smile.  The photographer Alex Bramall, should have shut the door!  It's nice to see Fergie standing beside Prince Philip.  He's shunned her since 1992 when the scandals were reported in the newspapers.   It's the first time they've been photographed together in 26 years.

The Queen appears to have accepted Sarah back into the family, and she often stays with Her Majesty at Balmoral Castle during the summer.  Sarah was not invited to the 2011 wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middelton but she attended the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle earlier this year.  However, she did not receive an invitation to the evening reception at Frogmore House hosted by Prince Charles and was reportedly "deeply upset" by her exclusion.  On our last trip, I heard a Brit say when both the Queen and Prince pass on, Andrew and Sarah will get remarried.  They've lived together for years after their divorce. 

The most interesting thing I heard this week is from an internet safety presentation.  Apparently your cell phone can be hacked.  I've heard about keeping your computer camera covered, but never thought of the camera on your cell phone.  Beware, they can watch you!  Make sure whenever you dress or don't want anyone to see what's happening to put your phone in another area.  I'm also wondering if they can hear you too?  Not that my life is interesting but if I was a politician or a famous person, I would be concerned.

I just googled "hack my cell phone" and was shocked at what's online.  One software company, "SPYMYFONE" can be used to hack Apple or Android phones.  It's not a difficult thing to do.  They get full view of everything on your phone!  Beware, the times, they are changing!
