Princess Eugenie's Wedding
Tomorrow morning, ITV, in the UK is televising the wedding of Princess Eugenie. BBC was asked to give live coverage and declined. It took a few weeks and probably some royal intervention to get ITV to provide coverage. It doesn't appear it will be broadcast in Canada and I doubt few would get up to watch. TLC is going to provide coverage in the US, but it's not clear if TLC Canada will show the feed. Efforts by the Monarchist League of Canada to find out if Canada will see it live have received no answers from TLC Canada.
Will I watch it? No I won't. I remember when this happened in 2016:
The truth about the bust-up that’s the talk of Palace corridors: How Prince Andrew is livid because Charles insists Beatrice and Eugenie don’t deserve full-time royal status
The article was published before the birth of Prince Louis. I commend Prince Charles on this difficult decision. The people of the UK have enough people on the "royal payroll".
I'll see the recap on CBC News and I'm sure Hello Canada will have a full issue dedicated to this event.
If you are interested the wedding starts at 11:00 AM GMT, If you want to watch live, here is the site to see it online:
