On Saturday afternoon, Carol and I went to see Downton Abby. Before the movie started they had a quick update on all the characters and their pasts shown in the TV series. For anyone who didn't watch the series this would have helped and for those of us who watched it was a good review.
In the movie, the saga of the Crawley family continues in 1927. The children are older and the characters all return. I won't spoil any of the plot, but I did like the twists and story lines. When I left I thought the writers left it in a spot where they could easily continue with the saga. The cinematography and costumes were spectacular. Hello magazine this week did a spread on the wonderful dresses. When they had the scene in the ballroom, it brought back memories of my Cunard cruise!
