Yesterday we had a wonderful lunch with Alix, Jamil and Laurie. We went to The Blackberry Kitchen in Mission. We got there at 12 and left at 3:30! What a great lunch complete with Merlot and a lot of laughs. I was worried about the long weekend traffic when I was driving home. Not to worry, all the traffic was headed east. Thank you Alix, Jamil and Laurie for a very relaxing and magnificent afternoon!
I took the above picture to get in Mt. Baker. The restaurant is to the left. It's located in Fraser River Heritage Park and has awesome views of the Fraser River and Mount Baker.
The inside is gorgeous, but Jamil got us a reservation on the patio. It was a beautiful day for a patio lunch!
The menu was really good and the food was delicious!

This was dessert. I didn't order dessert but asked for an extra fork as I was so full from my burger. It was rich and delicious. I ate the orange, raspberry and the blueberries too. Cec finished the Grand Marnier delight!
