We are in the middle of the third Atmospheric River! Until a few days ago, I'd never heard of an Atmospheric River. The rain is continuous and heavy. The fields around us are all full of water. At the Post Office yesterday, the window I sit next to had a huge leak. We put a post office tub on the floor to catch the water and called maintenance.
Our petrol is limited to 30 litres and it's been extended to two more weeks. I wait until my car is half full and top it up. The highways out of town are now closed again due to slides and flooding. Nice to see you can get from Popkum to Agassiz!
This map was out of date by 10 PM last night. They closed Hwy 7 between Mission and Agassiz.
