Surrey Heritage Rail

Next Saturday Heritage Rail returns!  If you are looking for something unique to do, it runs all summer.  This year you have a choice.  You can board the train in Cloverdale (Hwy 10 & 176 A St) or board the train at Sullivan Station (64 Ave & 152 St).  Sullivan Station is very close to where I live.  It's a great parking lot and you don't need to drive into Cloverdale that can be very busy on weekends!

Explore Surrey’s Heritage Rail

Ride into the past on BCER (British Columbia Electric Railway) every weekend between May to September.

The train departs our Cloverdale Station and travels through the farmlands to Sullivan Station and returns. We cross over Highway 10, lights flashing, whistles blowing, traffic comes to a halt, and everyone waves! It’s a sight to see, but even more so from the train as a passenger! Each train has a tour guide who gives a commentary on the Interurban and the journey.

All trains depart from the Cloverdale Station (Hwy 10 & 176A St) and the round trip is approximately 55 minutes long.  The route goes from Cloverdale to Sullivan Station (64 Ave. & 152 St.) and immediately returns to Cloverdale. There is no stop at the Sullivan Station.

Most weekends you will be riding in Car 1225, however, each month we have special event trains, including runs of our famous Connaught Car. Please visit our Feature Train Rides for a schedule and more information. Experience commuter rail as it was a 100 years ago!
