One feature Facebook has that I enjoy is a look back on this day in previous years. Yesterday, I got these memories:
7 years ago - We were with Carol and Dave Duthie in Guatemala! We were half way through our Panama Canal repositioning cruise. It was a wonderful cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Vancouver, We had lunch with Carol and Dave on Wednesday and were talking about our travels together!
8 years ago - Craig Ferguson left late night TV on CBS. I miss Craig. I loved his sense of humour and his show with a horse and no band! He is a talented man! His replacement was James Corden. Last night James Corden announced he's leaving his late night talk show in 2023. I will miss car pool karaoke.
11 years ago and my best memory - I hosted a Royal Wedding Breakfast! Louise, Cheryl and Lexie came over. It started very early and I served tea, scones and fruit loops (for Lexie). We wore our pyjamas and a crown. I love Royal Weddings and it looks like a long time before we see another one.
