I was on a cruise for 12 days and gained 0.8 lbs! If I didn't have the alcohol package, I probably would have lost weight. People always say you gain on a cruise. On our first cruises we did gain and then we figured it out.
- Stay away from the buffet (or as my husband calls it "the trough")
- Take the stairs whenever possible
- Don't snack between meals (those treats at the International Cafe are so good)
- Drink lots of water (when we were in the bar most nights I'd order a Perrier)
- Order fruit whenever possible instead of a dessert
Hopefully on our next cruise in 36 days I will lose. We didn't get the alcohol package!
