The life of a cat

Persephone, my granddaughter's new kitten, has made herself at home.  She's being a lovely pet to Lexie.  Snowstorm, the predecessor, lived in Lexie's room.  He was a very lovable cat.  Roxy the other house cat is independent and doesn't like Lexie.  She doesn't like me either but she loves Cheryl and Dave.  Cats do what they do and there is no changing them.

Persephone has bonded with Lexie.  She stays in her room at night and loves to be picked up and petted.  I'm so glad she's settling in so well.

Roxy is much nicer to Persephone than she ever was with Snowstorm.  I'm wondering if it's because she's still a kitten and Roxy has some motherly tendencies.  Anyway, it's been nice they are putting up with each other with a little noise but no fights!

That's a little unsettling but they put up with each other.
