Yesterday we got invited to view the Boundary Bay Air Show from our favorite patio close to the air strip. The City of Delta sponsors it and the admission is free! Parking is $10 onsite but there is free parking with a shuttle. What a wonderful idea for families. Three years ago the Snowbirds performed! They didn't come this year. The maneuvers were awesome. We are thrilled to feature the Northern Stars Aerobatic Team at the 2022 Boundary Bay Airshow. Founded by unrestricted aerobatic performer and former Canadian Forces Snowbird, Brent Handy, flanked by Wingmen Todd Farrell and Greg Hume-Powell, the Northern Stars Aerobatic Team formation aerobatic routine combines discipline and precision with adrenaline-filled, heart-pumping tumbles, torque rolls, and loops. The Pitts Special is THE air show airplane to inspire young and old to pursue their passions!
Now in existence for over 10 years, the Boundary Bay Airshow continues to be a tremendous success and a prevalent community event for Alpha Aviation Inc. and the City of Delta. It not only showcases aviation at its finest, but it is one of the few remaining free admission airshows that provides spectacular excitement and entertainment for the community.
