Friends - what a fabulous week

This has been an awesome week.  On Tuesday, we had a family breakfast.  Not everyone could get together at Christmas so we met at the White Spot.  Catherine, Jack, Sam, Richard, Brad, Cheryl, Dave, Lexie and Catherine's dad from the UK all came.  Such a nice way to spend a rainy morning.

On Wednesday we met friends that went to high school got together.  We went to Pat Quinn's at Tsawwassen Golf Course and Donna arranged for the private room.  We had a lovely lunch and a great conversation.  Everyone seems more relaxed after Christmas.

Yesterday, my cousins Laurie and Steven and significant others met at Dublin Crossing Pub and had a delicious lunch.  It was cousin Julie's 80th birthday and she lives on Gabriola Island so didn't come to this lunch.  We sent her a video:

We forgot a candle so I found one online and that's my phone beside the apple crisp!

That song was after some beverages and you can see Cec and I wore the same top!  I lay my clothes out in the morning.  I gave him the 5 minute warning and he showed up wearing his coat!  I always have to wait for him but this time he was ready early.  This only happened because he changed his shirt to be the same as me and put his coat on.  He knows that drives me deranged.  It gave everyone a good laugh.

The funniest thing from Christmas:   Lexie got $100.00 bill, held it up and screamed "I've got gas money"!!!!
