I don't always believe what the provincial government says, but I have a friend who agrees to what they reported. On Tuesday, Carol was in Richmond at a luncheon. She left Richmond for Langley just after 2 PM and got to the Alex Fraser Bridge, shortly after. Her SUV has winter tires and she was one of the few who could go around those people who were stuck. She said the snow plows were there but could not get around the trucks and cars that couldn't navigate the incline because of bad tires!
I hope in the future, those people who drive around with summer tires in the snow are ticketed. I don't have snow tires and even though our tires are new and we have 4 X 4 and a heavy car, when it snows, we park it.
