Day 4 - At Sea

This picture was taken when we left San Francisco.  We didn't go out, it was late and cold.  Cheryl captured this from the Princess Cruises Bridge Cam!  Looks like lots of people went outside to go under the Golden Gate Bridge.  We've done it a few times but never at night.

The weather is cloudy, windy and we have 10 foot swells.  Good thing we are on large ship and have stabilizers.  It's a little rocky, but not enough to make you feel queasy.  The captain said if the fog gets worse, he will have to sound the horn every 2 minutes.  That started at 4:00.

We attended the morning trivia.  I like the way they make up the trivia so there are never repeats.  Interesting questions and we learned some interesting facts.  The prizes are cheesy so we don't care when we lose.

Lexie suggested Gigi's pizza for lunch so of course that's where we went.  At 11:20 we got a handheld box that lights up like the one at the Olive Garden.  Not a long wait, but I'm sure by 11:45 there would have been a long wait.  We are saving up room for our specialty dining tonight at Sabatini's.

After lunch, our favorite game show, Deal or No Deal!  Lexie bought the cards in case she got chosen to play because now she's 18 she can gamble.  You can't drink until 21, but they let you gamble at 18.  It's all about the revenue.

The two people chosen didn't do to well, but you can win from the audience.  Lexie won a $5.00 scratch card, here are some of the other wins.  Robin won a free cruise!

Those are the wins from the audience!
The next game show was Guess the Destination.  A very interesting game.  They would show a picture and "does Princess sail there"?  Very interesting and it really helps if you've sailed a lot with Princess.   Lexie did exceptionally well, but she didn't win the $100 or the $100 Effy Gift Certificate.  Great prizes!

They were demonstrating towel folding in the Piazza.  Always a fun thing to see.

We had dinner at Sabatini's, a wonderful Italian restaurant.  In the theatre was an excellent illusionist.

A wonderful day at sea!
