Laurie Haliburton and I attended this wonderful event! It was a full house. The speakers were excellent:
They served tea, coffee, veggie plate, fancy sandwiches, fruit plate and some lovely petit fours. They had a draw and I won a prize from Mila's Honey Cakes on Beecher Street in Crescent Beach. Mila is from Ukraine and has just settled in Canada. We had some of the cake last night an it was delicious. Her cakes are all natural! I will go to her shop, tell her how wonderful her cakes are and purchase more.
What a wonderful way to spend a Friday afternoon. When we left we were met with hail!
