We aren't in Australia or Nova Scotia but we went to Sidney on Vancouver Island yesterday to visit our friends Jim and Janice with my friend Donna. We all went to high school together. Jim and Janice live in Oak Bay and chose the restaurant, Jacks on the Beach on the Sidney waterfront!
This is Jack's on the Beach. Lunch was very tasty. Everyone had halibut and chips except me. I had a Power Bowl with Ahi Tuna and it was excellent too. The views were amazing!After lunch we walked around Sidney. What a lovely little town!

After our walk around the waterfront we returned to the mainland on the Coastal Celebration. We don't go to Vancouver Island often and this is one of the new ferries. It was really nice and the ride home included dinner with a White Spot special the BC Summer Bundle, a legendary White Spot Burger, Caesar salad or fries and blueberry pie for $20.00! A great end to a wonderful day with friends!
