I was reading Princess Cruises Facebook page and I saw this post from a passenger yesterday on the Sun Princess:

Trying to get through Istanbul to get back to ship by 4:30 . Can someone from princess reply back
If Marie would have taken Princess Patter with her, she would have had the phone number for the port. The next post shows the ship was trying to get in touch with her. She should have given them her cell number but if she hasn't purchased "roaming" they wouldn't be able to reach her. Her post worked as someone in the group was able to contact the ship!
They should have taken a ship's excursion as they are headed for Greece and that's a boat ride or flight to catch the ship!
